5678 Dance Studio will be presenting their 33rd Annual Dance Recital in June 7-12, 2027. 

 

What is the Dance Recital?

  • In the world of dance, a recital showcases the dancers and what they have learned throughout the season. Each class will learn a recital dance to perform on stage in June.

 

Where is the Dance Recital held?

  • The 2027 Dance Recital will be held at the Gallo Center for the Arts in the Mary Stuart Rodgers Theater.

 

When is Recital Week?

  • Recital Week will be June 7 - 12, 2027

    • Monday June 7th – Spacing Rehearsals for limited dancers

    • Tuesday June 8th – Show A Dress Rehearsal

    • Wednesday June 9th – Show B Dress Rehearsal

    • Thursday June 10th – Show A Recital #1

    • Friday June 11th – Show B Recital #1

    • Saturday June 12th   Show A & B Recital #2

 

How many Recitals does my dancer perform in?

  • Each dancer will participate in one Dress Rehearsal and two recitals during recital week.

 

What is the difference between Show A & B?

  • To keep our Dance Recital at 2 hours, we split the studio into two groups or shows. Half of the dancers perform in Show A and the other half in Show B. The Show your dancer will perform in has already been selected and is next to the class they are in. You can view this in your parent portal.

    • Example – Monday 3:30pm Pre Ballet-SHOW A.

  • To make it easier for our families we want all dancers in the same household to be in the same show. Please check your portal to make sure all your dancers are in the same show.

 

How much does it cost to participate in the Dance Recital?

  • There is no recital participation fee. All dancers will need to purchase the following to participate.

    • A dance costume for each class they take. These will be purchased by the parents through the 5678 website during the months of October, November and part of December.​

    • Optional Finale Package which includes a recital shirt and HD digital link of recital.

    • Parents and family will need to purchase tickets to watch the recital. Tickets run $25-$40 depending on where you purchase your seats.

 

When and how do we purchase recital costumes?

  • Costumes will be ordered by parents through the 5678 website. ​

 

How do we know what costume and what size to purchase?

  • We will provide you with costume paperwork for each class your dancer is in. This paperwork will have a picture of the costume, your dancer’s measurements, and our recommended size.

 

Is the Dance Recital mandatory to participate in?

  • Yes.

 

Can my dancer still take classes if they can’t participate in the Dance Recital?

  • Yes, they can continue to take classes. When the class begins their recital dance in January and February, they can learn it with the class.

 

What does my dancer do when they are not performing on stage?

  • All dancers will remain backstage in their dressing rooms for the duration of the recital.
