Mandy Casto

INSTRUCTOR

 

Mandy Casto began dancing at 5678 Dance Studio when she was nine years old and she never left! Over the years, 5678 has remained an important part of her life as she has grown from dancer to instructor and now gets to share her love of dance with the next generation.

Ballet holds the spot as Mandy’s favorite dance style, while musical theatre is her favorite style to teach. Her favorite 5678 recital theme has been Broadway, making her love for all things musical theatre even more fitting!

Outside of the studio, Mandy works as a substitute teacher for Modesto City Schools. A few of her favorite things include shopping on Amazon and at Target and the movie Michael. When it comes to food, she loves just about everything with one very important exception: olives are the enemy!

As an instructor, Mandy promises to always give her students her all. She believes that if she expects her dancers to give 100%, they deserve the same effort from her in return. Her favorite part of teaching is watching the transformation that happens throughout a season, from a dancer’s very first class to seeing their growth and confidence come to life on stage at recital.
