Krysta Crain

INSTRUCTOR

Krysta Crain has been dancing for over 18 years, and dance has always been one of her greatest passions. This is her first year at 5678 Dance Studio, and she is excited to bring her energy, creativity, and love of teaching to the 5678 family! Krysta also spent two years studying as a dance major in community college, where she strengthened her technique and deepened her appreciation for the art of dance.

Hip hop is Krysta’s favorite style because she loves its energy, creativity, and ability to bring people together. She especially enjoys creating choreography and helping dancers feel confident enough to let their personalities shine through their movement. Two of her former instructors, Pookie and Caesar, had a lasting impact on her as a dancer, and their encouragement inspires the kind of positive influence she hopes to be for her own students.

Outside of dance, Krysta works as a paraprofessional at an elementary school and is also a certified teeth whitening specialist. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the gym, online shopping, and working toward becoming the best version of herself. A few of her favorites include French fries, chocolate, Lay’s chips, Dr Pepper, and the Step Up movies!

As an instructor, Krysta promises to create a positive, safe, and encouraging environment where every dancer feels welcomed, valued, and inspired. She hopes to help her students grow not only in technique, but also in confidence, discipline, teamwork, and self-expression all while making class fun and creating a lifelong love for dance.

This season, Krysta is most excited to build relationships with her students and families, share her love of hip hop, and watch each dancer discover what they are capable of. She can’t wait to celebrate their progress, create lasting memories, and experience her first season at 5678!

If you take Krysta’s class, you’ll probably hear her say, “Show me what’s up!” her way of encouraging dancers to go full out, give their best, and dance with confidence.
