Brisa Gonzalez

Brisa began taking classes at 5678 from the age of 5 and continued at the studio for 9 years before joining her high school cheer and dance team at Grace M Davis High. Brisa continued cheer and dance throughout high school and loved being on a team. Her senior year of high school, she became president of the Davis Dance Team and that’s when she knew she loved being a leader and helping out other students through their mutual love of dance. Brisa also loves fashion and through hard work was able to receive an early admissions to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco her junior year of high school.

After graduating from Davis High she was awarded a full year scholarship to FIDM so she packed her things and moved to the bay area where she became her family’s first generation college student. While studying at FIDM, she also taught ballet at a local Spanish immersion preschool where she realized how much she enjoys working with children. After her year of study, Brisa moved back home to pursue her dream of owning her own fashion business and is currently pursuing a certificate of International Business at MJC. She hopes to see lots of travel (and clothes) in her future!

Some of Brisa’s hobbies include dancing (of course), watching Disney movies, writing, and learning languages. Brisa speaks Spanish and is currently learning Korean. She is excited to see what her future holds and is happy to be back at 5678 where she can help make a difference in children’s lives.
