Rainey Neri

INSTRUCTOR

Rainey Neri has been dancing for 16 years and has been part of the 5678 Dance Studio family for 15 of them! This season marks her fifth year on the 5678 faculty and her third year teaching. While it’s hard for her to choose just one favorite style, hip hop currently takes the top spot! When it comes to teaching, jazz is her favorite because she loves its upbeat energy, dynamic movement, and the opportunity it gives dancers to combine technique with performance.

Throughout her years at 5678, Rainey has created countless memories. Advancing to pointe was a highlight in her own dance journey, while being hired onto the 5678 faculty remains one of her proudest accomplishments. Her favorite recital theme is Iconic, which she loved for its fun choreography, vibrant costumes, and exciting production elements.

Outside of the studio, Rainey enjoys hiking, working out, spending time outdoors, and being with friends and family. She is currently working toward her B.A. in Kinesiology and will graduate this spring, with plans to pursue a career teaching Physical Education and Dance in local schools.

As an instructor, Rainey promises to care for every student as an individual and build a strong connection with each dancer. She is committed to encouraging, challenging, and supporting her students to give their very best effort while helping them grow in confidence, discipline, and joy.

This season, Rainey is especially excited to see her new competition dances take the stage! A few of her other favorites include Sour Patch Watermelon, Target, and her favorite dance teacher, Tamie.

And if you’ve ever taken Rainey’s class, you’ve probably heard her ask, “Where is your plié?!”
