ATTENDANCE: Students are expected to attend class each week. Please report all absences to the studio by leaving a message at 209-526-6664.
BEING ON TIME: It is important that you ARRIVE ON TIME! It is very distracting & disruptive to the other children when students arrive after the class has begun.
LATE ARRIVAL TO CLASS : Late arrival to class must be discouraged as classes are structured to accommodate warming up the body properly. Coming in late is dangerous to the muscles and disrupts the concentration of the class. Therefore, students arriving more than 15 minutes late will be asked to sit and watch rather than participate.
WAITING AREA: The observation windows will be open for parents the first week of each month. Observing your child's class once per month will give you a better feel for their progress rather than observing every week. Many classes are large and taking turns at the viewing window will allow each parent the opportunity to enjoy watching their child. Please be courteous to the dancers and other parents by keeping children quiet in the waiting area. Please DO NOT enter the dance room at any time unless invited by the instructor.
Studio D is for instruction only. There is no lobby or waiting area at this studio. There will be 4 observation weeks throughout the year. These week will be posted in the monthly newsletter and on line.
VIDEOTAPING: There is absolutely no videotaping of dance instruction during dance classes at 5*6*7*8 Dance Studio. This includes video cameras and phones with recording capabilities. If you are videotaping dance instruction an instructor or office manager will kindly ask you to stop. Throughout the year there will be times that parents may videotape their child's dance for the May Dance Performance. Specific dates for videotaping class choreography will be listed in the monthly newsletter and on line.
FINANCIAL POLICIES :
Tuition is due on the 1st of the month for the following month and late after the 15th. Payments made after the 15th will incur a $10 late fee of 10% of total tuition past due whichever is greater. Registration fees are due upon registration and are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Monthly statements are availble on line by loging on to your account. Monthly statements will NOT be mailed home.
Please understand our policy must be that what you are purchasing is not a class at a time, but a reserved place in that class. There is no provision for credit to be issued for missed classes. Tuition is not refundable and no adjustments can be made for the number of days or classes in a given month or for days missed due to illness or any personal inconveniences.
Monthly tuition is the same rate each month regardless of how many weeks are in the month.
A student who withdraws from a class must notify the studio by filling out a Drop Notice and bringing it in or mailing it to 5*6*7*8 Dance Studio, 1369 Standiford Ave. Modesto Ca, 95350, no later than the 15th of the month or the next month's full tuition will be automatically added to your account and no refund or credit will be issued. Drop Notices can be found at the front desk.
In the event of insufficient funds, account holders will be charged a $25.00 service fee in addition to their regular monthly tuition payment. The total amount due must be delivered in cash directly to 5*6*7*8 Dance Studio Inc., by the 15th of that month or the student will be dropped from class/es.
Payment for classes is due upon registration. If you cancel the class after 48 hours there will be a cancellation fee.
HOLIDAYS:
The studio will be closed and no classes will be held on Halloween, Thanksgiving, Winter Break, President's Day and Spring Break. Specific dates are listed on our web site under calendar of events.
