Danette Tomasello- Owner and Director of 5*6*7*8 Dance Studio

She has been teaching for over eighteen years.  Her passion for dance is passed on to her students.  Danette has studied Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Modern, and Musical Theatre over the past 29 years.  She has been a company member of California Dance Collective.  She studied dance at several studios in the bay area and in the central valley.  In addition to her dance studies she has also received her aerobic certification and has completed the Gymboree Instructors training for children’s class.  Along with Tamie they have built the award winning Showstopper Dance Company.  Their performing dance teams have won top awards which include Best of Show, Best over all score in the junior, teen and senior divisions, Best Concept, Best Costume, and Best Showmanship.  In addition her students continue to earn several dance scholarships. The company has performed Great America and in numerous local events. Several 5*6*7*8 Dance Company and students have advanced to college dance teams, pro sports teams, and have made careers in dance production.

Tamie Griffith - Owner and Director of 5*6*7*8 Dance Studio

She has been instructing for over fifteen years.  Her love for ballet is taught through her persistence of classic ballet technique.  Tamie has studied Ballet along with Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Hip Hop for over 25 years.  She studied dance at several studios in the bay area and in the central valley.  While growing up in the central valley she performed with the Yes Company and other local dance companies.  Along with Danette they have built the award winning Showstopper Dance Company.  Their performing dance teams have won top awards which include Best of Show, Best over all score in the junior, teen and senior divisions, Best Concept, Best Costume, and Best Showmanship.  In addition her students continue to earn several dance scholarships. The company has performed Great America and in numerous local events. Several 5*6*7*8 Dance Company and students have advanced to college dance teams, pro sports teams, and have made careers in dance production.


Faculty

Our caring faculty is an elite group of instructors who specialize in what they teach. They are selected not just for their dance background, but also for their ability to teach effectively and work well with children.  It is our focus to instruct our dancers with the highest quality of training to enhance technique, style and performance.  It is our goal to give each student the best dance education possible while assisting them to dream, believe and achieve their goals.  It is our pleasure to share our knowledge, ideas and love of dance with them.  We welcome you to 5*6*7*8 Dance Studio!

Tamron Honberger

Tamron is our adult jazz/hip hop instructor and has been instructing at 5678 for six years.  She has been teaching first grade for 17 years in Ceres.  She has 17 years of studio dance training.  Her dance training includes Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet,  and Tap.  Tamron cheered for 12 years, which includes cheerleading with the Fresno State Cheer squad.  She also coached the Modesto Jr. College cheerleaders for 5 years.   Tamron will get you moving, pumping and getting down in her adult  classes.

Nikole Bulman

She has been dancing for 15 years. She has studied Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Modern and Hip-Hop at 5*6*7*8 Dance Studio.   She has won several scholarships at Tremaine, Co Dance and Hollywood Connection.  Her scholarships have allowed her to study at the Broadway Dance Center in New York and the Millennium Dance Studio in LA.  Her recent solo performance not only received the award for the highest score in the senior division, but also the honor of highest score of the entire competition.    She inspires her students with her impeccable technique and energy.  At Hollywood Connection National Finals 2007, her choreography collaboration with two other instructors received the honor of "Highest Overall Score in the Senior Division" and "Best Breakthrough Performance".  Nikole was recently awarded the honor of being an assistant instructor for the Hollywood Dance Convention.

Elizabeth Borba

Liz has studied a variety of dance styles over the past 15 years.  She has been teaching with 5*6*7*8 Dance Studio for 7 years.  She has a way of captivating her Pre Ballet and Pre Tap classes.  She inspires our Ballet II and III students with her grace, poise and lines.  She was Tremaine Dancer of the Year in  2002.  Elizabeth has been on the Showstopper Company for over  11 years. She has received many scholarships to various dance conventions and also received a scholarship for a  private audition for LA Laker's Dance Team.  In addition to her dance training she also has a background in cheerleading. 

Kayla Snider

A member of the 5*6*7*8 Faculty for six years, Kayla’s creative lesson plans and choreography keep her students on their toes.  She has studied Ballet, Lyrical, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and Modern.  She has received several specialty awards and scholarships for her dance talent.  Throughout her years of study, her fellow company members chose her to receive the Co Dance Leadership Award.  At Hollywood Connection National Finals 2007, her choreography collaboration with two other instructors received the honor of "Highest Overall Score in the Senior Division" and "Best Breakthrough Performance".

Cassandra Weitze

She began her dance training at 5*6*7*8 Dance Studio when she was 11 years old and has been dancing ever since.  Cassie has been instructing for five years.  In addition to her dance training she trains in cheer, tumbling and gymnastics.  At Hollywood Connection National Finals 2007, her choreography collaberation with two other instructors received the homor of "Highest Overall Score in the Senior Division" and "Best Breakthrough Performance".
